Your Learning Journey
Each phase builds on the previous one. Students move at their own pace, but most complete the full program in 12 months.
Foundation Skills
Start with basic cutting techniques, sanitation practices, and client interaction. You'll work with practice heads before moving to live models. This phase covers safety protocols and essential tools.
Months 1-3Advanced Techniques
Learn fading, texturing, and modern styling methods. Introduction to color theory and application. Students begin working with volunteer clients under supervision.
Months 4-7Creative Specialization
Develop your personal style through advanced color work, creative cuts, and specialty techniques. Focus on building a portfolio and understanding current trends.
Months 8-10Professional Preparation
Business skills, client management, and preparation for state licensing. Complete your required hours and develop job search strategies.
Months 11-12Ready to Start?
Our next cohort begins in September 2025. We accept applications year-round, but early applicants have better chances for their preferred schedule.

12 months full-time or 18 months part-time evening schedule
Class Schedule
Tuesday through Friday, with weekend workshops available
